.........can we deliver as a team all at the same time and come up with a performance that will get us over the line.

- Neil Fairbrother

After the disappointment of day five in Adelaide, the England team have had a few days off in order to regroup and freshen up.

It's back to the real business tomorrow with, what I am sure, will be two hectic days of practice at the Waca before Thursday's pivotal third test match begins.

There's been all sorts of questions being asked about team selection on various social media platforms over the past few days. For what it's worth I think all the lads who have played in the two test matches have at some stage acquitted themselves well.

It's now, can we deliver as a team all at the same time and come up with a performance that will get us over the line. My only thought on a different selection would be if Mark Wood has shown the team management that he's fit and bowling quick. If that were the case he could just offer the Captain something a little bit different.

Our record at the Waca is not a brilliant one, however, at some stage an England team will have to win a test match there, why not this week?

On a separate note but still in Perth, it was good to see the England Lions team beat the Perth Scorchers in a T20 game earlier today. That's the first of three T20 Games in a Mini Series before Christmas.

In Bangladeshh, Jos Buttler's first season in the BPL has just finished with his team Camilla who lost in the final play off game. Jos has enjoyed his first experience in the BPL and, as always, with these major T20 leagues around the world, I am sure he will have learned some new tricks of the trade as far as T20 cricket is concerned.
