Peter Uihlein heads into the final round of the Kazakhstan Open in contention to claim his first Challenge Tour title.

Uihelin, starting the day tied for the lead, is tied third at Zhailjau Golf Resort on 14 under par, four shots off the lead after a three under 69 third round.

Scott Pinckney fired a brilliant seven under 65 to move inside the top ten. The young American is tied eighth on 12 under.

Alex Kaleka recorded his third successive sub-70 round, a three under 69, to go tied 14th on 11 under. Michael Lorenzo Vera is inside the top 30 on nine under after shooting his lowest round of the week, a superb five under 67.

Ben An and Nick Dougherty are tied 33rd on eight under following one under and level par rounds respectively.

Espen Kofstad and Charlie Ford signed for scores of 69 and 70 to sit inside the top 50 on six under, while Chris Hanson, Matthew Nixon, Ross McGowan are four, three and two under.
