Louis Oosthuizen is in contention to claim his third title of the year ahead of the final round at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
Oosthuizen, who has triumphed at the Africa Open and Maybank Malaysian Open this season, is second at Firestone Country Club on ten under par after shooting a two under 68 in his third round.
"The front nine was rough," he said. "I just had to try to make pars, and made a silly bogey on eight, got the lie completely wrong, ended up 20 yards short of the green.
"But I felt like I hung in there pretty well, and a few opportunities for birdies I didn't make, but I started hitting the ball really well on the back nine."
Simon Dyson birdied 17 and 18 en route to carding a level par 70. He is tied 11th on three under.
Branden Grace carded a superb four under 66 to move inside the top 20. The three-time European Tour winner was six under after ten and is tied 13th on two under.
Charl Schwartzel, Jeev Milkha Singh, Joost Luiten and Lee Westwood are all outside the top 50.
At the Finnish Challenge, Peter Uihlein is tied second, four shots off the lead on eight under following third round 68.
Nick Dougherty is tied seventh on six under following third round 66, while Espen Kofstad is tied 12th on four under.
