I feel like I'm playing well enough to have a five o six under round

- Louis Oosthuizen

Richard Finch shot a five under par 66, his lowest round of the week, to move into contention at the Portugal Masters.

Finch, who had signed for scores of 70 and 68 before Saturday’s third round, was in immaculate form at the Oceanico Victoria, making five birdies and 13 pars in total.

He is tied third on nine under, four shots off the lead, while Fredik Andersson Hed is tied eighth on seven under after finishing one under for the day.

Louis Oosthuizen is tied 11th at the Nanshan China Masters on one under after shooting a 69.

"At the moment, I'm probably playing for third place," said Oosthuizen. "I feel like I'm playing well enough to have a five o six under round. I hit it really well and gave myself lots of opportunities for birdie, but just didn't make any."

Back in Portugal, George Coetzee leapt 25 places up the leaderboard following his third round 67. The South African is tied 26th on four under.

Simon Dyson and Matthew Baldwin were one and two under for the day and are tied 31st and 40th on three and two under respectively.
