Charl Schwartzel secured a top-15 finish at the Wyndham Championship, which concluded on a Monday for the first time since 1983.

The 2011 Masters champion tied for 14th at Sedgefield Country Club, five shots off the lead on 11 under par.

He fired a two under 68, his fourth sub-70 round in succession, on the fifth day of the weather-delayed tournament.

Following his best result in a stroke play since the Maybank Malaysian Open in April, Schwartzel now heads to New York to play in the Barclays, which gets under way at Bethpage State Park on Thursday.

On Saturday, Alexandre Kaleka fired a three under 69 to finish tied 20th at the ECCO Tour Championship on seven under.

Ben An shot a 68 to tie for 35th, while Nick Dougherty was just outside the top 50.

Christina Kim was tied 54th at the Safeway Classic.
