Anton burst into action in 2006 at the Pulai Springs Malaysian Masters in Johor when he lifted his maiden Asian Tour title. He led from start to finish thanks to a hot driver borrowed from countryman Nico Van Rensburg. He enjoyed a strong start to the season when finishing tied third in the Dimension Data Pro-Am in South Africa and then claimed his Asian Tour card from Qualifying School in Malaysia by finishing tied 14th. In 2005 he won on the South African Sunshine Tour claiming victory in the Seekers Travel Pro-Am. His career so far has culminated in winning the 2007 Johnnie Walker Classic in Phuket, Thailand, in a three way play-off beating South African Richard Sterne and England’s Oliver Wilson. This magnificent win has gained him Category 3 membership on the European Tour and exemption until 2009.
